Youth Confirmation Preparation Is a Two-Year Program.
Year 1 students begin in 7th grade and the student receives the Sacrament of Confirmation at the end of 8th grade.
Year 2 students (8th grade and above) who completed Year 1 Confirmation classes must complete Year 2 classes before being confirmed in the spring.
All students must attend Family Faith Formation classes concurrently with sacramental preparation classes.
Preparation consists of youth and parent/guardian attending and completing the classes (that may include service projects or other practical assignments), and participating in an integrated retreat for all participants.
Reception of the Sacrament is typically in April/May.
