Youth Group (Grades 6-12) Our Youth Group meets every Wednesday of each month from 6:00-7:30pm starting in September and ending in May. The purpose of Youth Group is aimed at helping our youth know Christ through Fellowship, Discipleship, Worship, Evangelization and Ministry. Youth Group meetings will alternate between Fellowship Nights and Faith Nights. Outside of our regular Youth Group time, we also provide opportunities for Leadership Development, monthly Faith Outreach (service projects), Conferences & Retreats, Mission opportunities, and fun extracurricular activities! Our Youth Group also plays a vital role in the teen’s preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation; therefore all 8th graders, or those currently enrolled in the Confirmation Preparation program are required to attend.

Fellowship Nights (Grades 6-12) Youth Group Fellowship Nights are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month and consist of Dinner, Fellowship, Socializing and Fun activities. These nights are designed to build Catholic friendships and community between our 6th-12th graders. Fellowship Nights will begin with a community dinner, followed by icebreakers games, a themed lesson for the evening, and conclude with fun activities corresponding with the evening theme. Fellowship Nights focus mainly on the social aspect of our Catholic faith and building a strong Catholic community of friendships.

Faith Nights (Grades 6-12) Youth Group Faith Nights are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month and consist of a time of prayer (which may include the occasional celebration of the Holy Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Praise & Worship music, or other forms of prayer), a topic of study (which may include scripture study, Gospel readings, apologetics, Theology of the Body, Saints, or other topics), and conclude with Small Group discussions. Small Groups help our youth go deeper into their faith through discussion, faith sharing, and prayer. Our groups are separated by gender to create a comfortable space for our girls and our guys to share with each other. Faith Nights focus mainly on the catechetical aspect of our Catholic faith and learning how to live our Catholic values and morals in today’s society.

Leadership Development Some students may also be invited to our take on a larger roll in our Youth Groups by learning to become Disciples / Student Leaders within the Youth Group and Holy Apostles Community. Our Leadership group will meet separately and learn how to grow in their Catholic faith by helping to plan and lead our youth nights and beyond.

Youth Group registration

Although occasional drop-ins and bringing friends is encouraged, it is important that you officially register for our Youth Programs! Registration includes important family information and emergency contact information including an Activity Release and Media Release Waivers. The registration fees also help offset programs costs for Youth Group activities, supplies, food/drinks, and other program expenses. If registration payment is an issue, we do not want that to stop your child from participating, so please contact Jeremy to discuss any needed financial assistance when registering.

Wednesday Night Youth Groups (6-12 grades):  $50.00

Confirmation Prep + Youth Group (8-12 grades): $75.00

“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
