McKenna Anderson- Preschool Director
McKenna graduated from Saint Mary’s College Notre Dame, IN with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and minors in Early Childhood Education and Business Administration. She has her Director’s Credentials and holds a Professional Teaching License through the State of Colorado. She has nearly 20 years of experience working with the youngest learners.
Paula Cooper- Lead Teacher
I have been teaching preschool for 11 years at Holy Apostles. Before that I taught second grade and kindergarten. I got involved in Holy Apostles Preschool when my oldest son was enrolled. I loved the program so much, I decided with my Human Development Degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development, that I needed to be part of this staff. I was soon hired and have loved teaching 3 and 4 year olds about God and social skills for 11 years.
Kristi McGarry- Lead Teacher
Mrs. McGarry has been teaching at Holy Apostles Preschool since 2016. She has a degree in education from Regis University with an endorsement in early childhood education. She holds a professional teaching license through the state of Colorado. She has over a decade of experience in working with preschoolers and elementary students.
Samantha Ross- Lead Teacher
I’ve lived in Colorado Springs my entire life. My undergrad degree is from The University of Northern Colorado. My masters degree is from UCCS in Curriculum and Instruction at the elementary level. I taught first grade for 5 years before resigning to stay home with my boys. I have three boys ages 12, 10, and 6. All three of them attended Holy Apostles Preschool. For the past two years I have been an assistant teacher at the preschool before becoming the lead teacher in the 3 year old room this year.
Rostia Stoecker- Catechist and Assistant Teacher
Robyn Tyboroski- Assistant Teacher
Mrs. T graduated from U.C.C.S. with a degree in Elementary Education. She has working with children for thirty-nine years, loving every minute !
In her spare time she enjoys reading, baking, and taking long walks with her husband and golden retriever.
