Baptism
Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word."

Infant Baptism
Congratulations on the birth of your child! We’re happy to walk with you as you prepare for your child to receive this beautiful sacrament of initiation into the life of God.
If you would like to have your child baptised, contact Sherry Slominski at sslominski@holyapostlescc.org gto begin the process. We do not schedule baptisms until you have been in contact with Sherry, taken a baptism class, met with a priest or deacon, and completed and turned in all paperwork.
Godparents must be practicing Catholics who are in good standing with the Church and registered members of a Catholic church for at least 6 months.

Baptism for Adults or Children
over the Age of 7
For unbaptized adults and children over the age of 7, the Rite of Christian Initiation is a faith journey of prayer and catechesis for those interested in receiving the Sacrament of Baptism and becoming a member of the Catholic Church.
