The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on December 8 is a Holy Day of Obligation. An anticipatory Mass will be offered on Friday, December 7 at 6 pm, and a Mass on Saturday, December 8 at 8 am. Please note that you will still need to attend Mass for the First Sunday of Advent on Saturday night or Sunday!
Holy Apostles Knights of Columbus will host the annual Chili Cook-off on Nov. 10 in the parish hall. This is a free event. There will be prizes ($100, $50, & $25) for top three chilis. In honor of Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day, Holy Apostles Mothers of Preschoolers would like to invite families who have lost a child to a Prayer Vigil & Rosary on Monday, Oct. 15 from 6:30-7:45pm at Holy Apostles. Memorial Candles will be available for purchase for $5.00 each at the door. The candles will be lit and displayed on the Baptismal Font at the beginning of the vigil and are yours to take home. To reserve a candle, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by October 8 so we can be sure to have enough. Walk-ins welcome. We encourage you to bring your candles back to participate in the All Souls' Day devotion at the end of October.

All for the Glory of God Ministry in conjunction with the Diocese of Colorado Springs is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Rosary Rally on Sunday, September 30, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Holy Apostles. A reception with desserts will follow. Bishop Sheridan will lead us in prayer and Fr. Michael Goodyear will speak on Divine Mercy. Our middle school and high school students will lead a living rosary. Please come and pray with us.
A training session for those in need of Safe Environment Training and Update Training is scheduled for Saturday, September 29 in the St. Philip Room from 4:00-6:30 pm. The initial training will be from 4-6 followed by the Update training. Combining Church teaching with stories, practical exercises and proven safeguards, Holy Spirit 101 is the perfect source for equipping the faithful to begin stepping out in the supernatural gifts. This three-day retreat will be conducted by Arise Worship Ministries in cooperation with CCRS Ministries of the Diocese of Colorado Springs. It will be held September 28-30, at Holy Apostles Catholic Church. The cost is only $40 for the weekend and includes the Holy Spirit 101 book. Join us at the Ministry Fair & Blood Drive during our Stewardship of Service Weekend on September 22/23 for an opportunity to celebrate the many ministries supported by the wonderful stewards in our parish, as well as to find out more information or sign up. Bishop Michael Sheridan will host a Facebook Live “ask-and-answer” session on Thursday, Sept. 13 from 7:00-7:30 pm. In this session, Bishop Sheridan will be taking questions on the difficult topic of clergy sexual abuse. Please visit the Catholic Diocese of Colorado Springs Facebook page in order to participate. The parish office will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 for Independence Day. Daily Mass will be offered at the usual times: 6:20 am and 8:00 am, with a Patriotic Rosary following the 8 am Mass. The parish grounds will be closed after Masses, so if you would like to access the Adoration Chapel on July 4, please use the north coded entrance.
TOTUS TUUS (The Papal motto of St. John Paul II and Latin for "Totally Yours") is a Diocesan summer program that gathers together college students and seminarians into teams of four each and sends them out to parishes to spread the GOOD NEWS of OUR LORD among children and youth.
