Holy Apostles Catholic Church has been growing and serving our community in the northeast section of Colorado Springs since 1972. We have a long and fulfilling history that we are proud of. With the arrival of Msgr. John Albert in November of 1972 the Church began with only13 families that met in the Pastor’s house and Wilson/Madison Elementary schools. With a large Catholic community in the Northeast end of Colorado Springs plans for the first Church building were under way and was dedicated in 1974. The number of Parishoners quickly grew to 750 by the end of 1978. In 1981 Father Paul Wicker began to lead the church, and in 1984 there were over 1,200 families, and Holy Apostles was out growing its first building and finished a new Church at the end of 1987 that we still occupy today. Today Holy Apostles Church has over 2,300 active parishioner families.
